faces of plants

The key to Ryusei-ha ikebana is the approach known as gthe faces of plants.h The arranger is not bound by set rules of composition but encounters the plant materials directly, approaching them with a new attitude. This is done in four basic ways: changing the viewpoint, modifying the materials, trying new combinations of materials, and establishing a situation. Here are some examples of arrangements based on several of these methods.
